A little about Steven
Working in upholstery started as a part time job as I went to college. The work was hands on and was a better fit for me than any food service job I had held through high school. By this time I had already refinished wood furniture at home, and kept myself busy with project after project. Now I was getting to work with furniture and learn something new, while getting paid to do it. Upon finishing college I started working at the shop full time where I quickly gained the skills needed to accomplish any job I came across
I have since moved on to be a full time upholsterer at a large hotel in chicago
On the side of all of this I have always had a passion for history. Reading books and watching documentaries can only satisfy so much of that passion, and to get a "hands on" version of history I have started getting into reenacting. And it is my pleasure to use my trade to help preserve and restore the vehicles that others have put so much time and energy into restoring.
